Cheryl and Haylee Rose

About me and Hayley: Hayley has Lennox Gastaut Syndrome a severe rare form of childhood epilepsy.

I have been involved in cannabis advocacy for 16 years this May. Focusing mainly on pediatric epilepsy. In 2008 My daughter Hayley became Canada's first federally approved pediatric patient at which time her namesake strain Hayleys Comet was first tested and found to be a 1:1 cbd:thc strain.

after 15 years on medical cannabis neurologists finally found a pinpointed area where seizures were coming from, unfortunately 4 of 9 seizures were shown to be completely invisible to the naked eye.

March 27,2023, Hayley began consuming Dr. Courtneys prescription of raw cannabis,

Within 41 days the hypoglycemia events had considerably reduced and hayleys body was stabilizing.

Joanne Griffiths

Joanne Griffiths is a mom in the UK who provides access to medical cannabis for an amazing young man, her 14-year-old son, Ben. Ben, aka Boisterous Ben, requires cannabis medicine to combat severe treatment-resistant/refractory epilepsy. Cannabis also helps Ben deal with the damage(s) caused from treatment-resistant epileptic seizures and to deal with conditions of Cerebral Palsy. Joanne has been a patient advocate for cannabis medicine and cannabis legalization for years prior to legalization, but since cannabis was legalized for medical use on November 1st, 2018, in the UK, Joanne has not been able to get a script for her son Ben. Ben cannot survive without medical cannabis. The NHS is denying Ben his free access to medical cannabis.

Susan Caddigan

My name is Susan Cadigan. I’m a long-term survivor of a rare and aggressive blood cancer that first struck in 1996 when I was 36 years young, a single mom working three jobs with two little children. Looking at the first experience as a blessing in disguise, it’s during the first battle that I met a significant, spectacular human who saw that I was on my own, in a rock and a hard place, and would not let go until. I healed. We laughed often. This includes eating simply, nourishing one’s soul, and balancing Ki/Chi through gentle movements to help stagnation and open healing pathways. I often have acupuncture and do simple qigong. After surviving the first two cancers, I lived with so much fatigue and pain. Wanting to understand and recover, I became a bodyworker. My first job was in a hospital. I hoped to comfort patients with my understanding of pain and the pathway to healing.

To be continued!
